1. Frame Adjustment: Heat plastic and acetate frames with a heater, then adjust by hand. Use flat-nose pliers and nose bridge pliers to adjust metal frames. Aim for the inner curvature angle of the frame to be between 170° and 180° for optimal comfort.
2. Nose Pad Adjustment: Use round-nose pliers to adjust the nose pad support, ensuring symmetrical support on both sides. Use nose pad pliers to adjust the nose pads, ensuring symmetry on both sides.
3. Frame and Temple Adjustment: Use flat-nose pliers and temple pliers to align the frame and temples left and right, ensuring the tilt angle deviation between the left and right temples is less than 2.5°. Use temple pliers to bend the temple tips, achieving an angle of 80° to 95° and ensuring symmetry on both sides. Bend the temples so that the horizontal and bent sections of both temples are approximately the same length, and the bending is consistent. With both temples open and flat on a table, ensure the bottom of the frame and the rear of the temples are in contact with the left side without gaps. This can be achieved by adjusting the tilt angle of the frame.
4. Temple Adjustment: Bring the temples together until they touch the lower edge of the frame, ensuring they are roughly aligned. Adjust the straightness of the temples so that the frame is generally stable when placed on a table after folding, and symmetrical when viewed directly. This can be achieved by adjusting the straightness or curvature of the temples.
5. Precautions: If the lens is warped, first loosen the screws, remove the lens, and use frame adjusting pliers to adjust the frame shape to achieve symmetry. After reinstalling the lens, ensure the frame is no longer warped, and then adjust the lens to make it flat.
